Identify what your opener is telling you based on the LED light pattern

How to Count Blinks
Watch the LED light on your opener after pressing the wall button. Count the number of times it blinks, then pauses, then blinks again. The blink pattern repeats.
How to Program a Genie Remote

Locate the PROGRAM button on the powerhead

Press and hold PROGRAM until the LED blinks

Press the button on your remote within 30 seconds

LED will blink twice to confirm

Press remote to test
Erasing All Remotes
To erase all programmed remotes (useful if you lose one), press and hold the LEARN button for 6 seconds until the indicator light turns off. You will need to reprogram all remotes after this.
